
Homemade Hazelnut Butter Recipe!
Nut butter is a delicious and nutritious snack. Instead of buying ready-made nut butters from stores, you can easily make them at home. Here is a simple nut butter recipe:
Materials:
- 2 cups hazelnuts (you can use any type of hazelnut you want)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (preferably coconut oil or hazelnut oil)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Salt (optional)
Fabrication:
- Spread the hazelnuts on a baking tray and roast them in a preheated 175 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. This will enhance the flavor of the nuts and make them easier to crush.
- Put the hazelnuts from the oven in a food processor and grind on high speed for 1-2 minutes. The nuts may be difficult to grind at first, but after a while the oil will be released and the nuts will be more easily crushed.
- Once the nuts are well ground, add the vegetable oil, honey or maple syrup and salt and mix for a few more minutes.
- Keep mixing until the hazelnut paste has a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Put the nut butter in a glass jar and store it in the refrigerator. This recipe makes about 2 cups of nut butter.
Nut butter can be used on bread or in different foods such as smoothies or yogurt. Plus, homemade nut butters are healthier than store-bought nut butters because it's made without added sugars and preservatives.
